Well, my wife has decided that she wants to get started on her loco
now. The last metal work that she did was back at high school so
we decided to start with some of the easy bits of the tender.
These being the axles, buffers, stretchers, drawbar and drawbar pin.
All of these being straight turning jobs, except for the drawbar which
is a 2" x 1/4" peice of shaped flat. So it was a trip off to the metal
suppliers to pick up some of the items which I didn't have under the
bench.
